The Carobella spreads are prepared with carob instead of cocoa, which makes them an excellent alternative for people that don't appreciate or cannot tolerate cocoa. Carob, derived from the St John's bread tree, is the perfect substitute for cocoa. It is a natural source of fructose and therefore has a mild sweet taste. Molenaartje only uses specially selected organic ingredients, which are as unrefined as possible and therefore they retain their nutritional properties where possible.
